Alyssa ‘Lys’ Snyder (she/they) is a Certified Social Worker who enjoys combining IFS, EMDR, humanistic, and dialectical approaches. She believes that there is no such thing as a “hopeless case”, and that every human being can make sustainable changes to build a life that they love. She enjoys working with her clients to help them recognize their worth and capability.

Lys received her undergraduate education through Utah State University, completing her bachelor’s degrees in exercise science and psychology, then went on to receive her master’s in social work through Arizona State University. She has experience working with individuals in general outpatient settings, residential treatment settings, and court-mandated treatment settings. She feels that there is no “one size fits all” treatment plan and loves to work alongside clients to determine the best path forward for them.

When Lys is not at work, she likes engaging in whatever her “flavor of the month” hobby is-Whether it be the latest cute video game, a new crafting project, an outdoor adventure, or a home improvement project, and spending time with her dog and cat.
