Carissa Monroy is the Medical Director at Sacred Circle Healthcare in Salt Lake. She is from Salt Lake City, attended college at Stanford University, and completed her medical training at the University Of Utah School Of Medicine, where she received Masters in Public Health as well. She completed her residency at McKay Dee Family Medicine Residency in Ogden. Dr. Monroy sees children and adults, and her interests include hepatitis C treatment, adolescent medicine, refugee health, and women’s health. Dr. Monroy is married to another family physician, and they have 3 children. She spends her free time trying to keep the house in order, skiing/snowboarding, hiking, shopping, and attempting to do crosswords.
