A Minnesota native, Dr. Cherish Dunshee attended the University of Wisconsin—Madison for her undergraduate studies where she discovered her love for science and research. She determined that healthcare was the field for her to be in as she is very compassionate and loves to serve other people. She pursued her dental school education at Roseman University College of Dental Medicine, in South Jordan, Utah, which she achieved in 2020. In dental school, she served as class president and student council president because she really enjoyed serving her classmates and her school. Inspired by her Samoan heritage, Dr. Dunshee is familiar with the discrepancies in oral health in minority populations and wants to bridge that gap by educating her patients and providing quality care to medically underserved patients. Outside of her passion to help others through dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, running, hiking, snowboarding, yoga, and going to concerts.
