Dr. Baker is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He has provided a wide scope of eye and vision care services along the Wasatch Front since 1995. He graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry and completed a residency in Hospital-Based Optometry and Geriatrics at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center. He earned a Masters in Military Operational Arts and Science from the United States Air Force’s Air University. Dr. Baker is a long-time member of the Utah Air National Guard and has deployed in support of humanitarian operations to Morocco, Hawaii, and Easter Island.
He offers creative solutions based on careful listening, empathy, and clear and simple explanations. He strongly believes that only such an approach can deliver top visual performance, preserve eyesight, and enhance overall health. Outside of work he enjoys sampling international cuisine, is a voracious reader, and appreciates quiet moments of reflection. He has a borderline unhealthy obsession with BYU sports and loves spending time outdoors and traveling with his family.
