Brett Bartruff, DSW, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He completed a bachelor’s degree in social work from Weber State University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and was award outstanding graduate for the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. He completed a master’s degree in social work from the University of Utah and earned a Doctorate in Clinical Social Work Practice from the University of Pennsylvania.

His practice specialties include the treatment of trauma, the intersection of substance use and mental health conditions, mood disorders, affirmative LGBTQIA therapy, as well as assessment of emergent prodromal and first-episode psychosis. He takes a holistic approach to wellness, addressing the bio-psycho-spiritual-social development of each unique individual. He is a member of the LGBTQ Affirmative Therapy Guild of Utah, the National Association of Social Workers, and an associate member of the American Psychological Association.

In his spare time, he enjoys all things Sci-fi, collecting X-Men comic books, traveling, and off-roading in his UTV.
