Dr. Atkinson was raised in a small farm town west of Ogden, Utah. He received his bachelor’s degree from Weber State University in Ogden. Following his undergraduate studies, he completed dental school at The University of Utah, graduating in 2020. Dr. Atkinson stayed at the University of Utah Hospital to complete a General Practice Residency, where he received further training in many aspects of dentistry including endodontics, oral surgery, implant dentistry, sedation, and treating patients with special needs. Dr. Atkinson values and respects the trust that each patient places in him. He believes that everyone deserves great healthcare, and he strives to provide each individual with the care that he would want to receive as a patient. Dr. Atkinson is fluent in Spanish and able to communicate with Spanish speaking patients.

Outside of work, Dr. Atkinson enjoys finding a new book to read from the library, playing pickleball and watching sports. He and his wife also love to spend time outdoors: hiking, backpacking and skiing.”
