Dr. Keith Castleton graduated from Southern California College of Optometry in 2003 and spent the first six years of his career as an active-duty optometrist in the US Navy. During his time in the Navy, he completed residency training at Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital on the Gila River Reservation in Sacaton, Arizona, and earned his fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry. He completed his master’s degree in Public Health in 2004. Dr. Castleton’s residency and fellowship training focused on diseases of the eye, with special emphasis on diabetes-related eye disorders. He has many years of experience providing mobile eye care for seniors in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and senior housing facilities. He is experienced working with children, seniors, and everyone in between.
Dr. Castleton enjoys spending time with his wife and 10 children. If he’s not home with the family, you’re likely to find him running, camping, fishing, trying a new recipe in his Dutch oven, playing the drums, or talking on his ham radio.
