John Dame, MD is board certified in Family Medicine.  He comes to us with over 15 years of experience in caring for patients from rural communities to the urban underserved and including training family medicine residents.  Dr. Dame is originally from Gainesville, Florida but moved west for his medical education.  He graduated from the University of Utah School of Medicine and completed his Family Medicine residency at Valley Medical Center in Renton, Washington.  Dr. Dame did a fellowship in Obstetrics in Spokane Washington and provided maternity care for over 15 years.  Areas of interest in medicine include care of the whole family, including care of infants and children all the way through the “golden” years.  Dr. Dame has experience with pediatric care, preventative healthcare, musculoskeletal complaints, women’s health, men’s health, and common issues such as chronic pain and mental health concerns.

Dr. Dame is married with 3 children (who are growing up too fast).  When not providing compassionate healthcare, he enjoys sailing, hiking, rock climbing, motorcycling, running, biking, and skiing.
