Kate joined our physical therapy team in 2021. She holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Duke University and a board certification in orthopedics from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She also has a sub-specialty in pelvic health. Prior to joining Sacred Circle, Kate spent 9 years working as a physical therapist in outpatient orthopedics at Intermountain Healthcare. During that time, she grew a passion for helping people recover their function and live healthier lives.
At Sacred Circle, Kate is housed at our West Valley clinic, where she treats a wide variety of patients, primarily with orthopedic injuries. While she loves working with patients of all ages, she is especially passionate about the pediatric population. In addition to patient care, Kate is also involved in program development and patient education. Together with a team of practitioners and care coordinators, she helped create Fit and Healthy Kids, a multidisciplinary treatment approach for pediatric patients struggling with obesity and related conditions. It is her hope to expand the reach of this program to all rural communities in Utah.
In her free time, Kate is an avid triathlete and outdoor adventurer. When she’s not at work, you can spot her and her son wandering the wilds of the Wasatch, biking, hiking, fishing, or just enjoying nature.
