Natalie Beesley (she/her) is completing her final year of graduate school through the online program at the University of Denver. In May of 2024, she will obtain her Master’s in Social Work. Natalie received a Bachelor of Fine Art through Indiana University in 2015 and believes there is a strong connection between art and healing.

She spent 4 years working in the mountains of North Carolina at a wilderness treatment program for adolescents working through addiction, depression, developmental disorders, and behavioral issues. Her most recent professional experience was working as a substance use counselor for a medicated assisted treatment facility.

Natalie is a certified instructor for Nonviolent Crisis Prevention and holds her 200-hour yoga teacher training certificate. She is also working towards a certificate to become a Somatic Experiencing© practitioner and may bring skills of building awareness and communication with the body to her sessions. Natalie has training in a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities and continues to educate herself in decolonized strategies as well.

She believes every individual has a unique story to share and that treatment is going to reflect their uniqueness. She aims to bring warmth, humility, collaboration, and curiosity into her work to support her clients as they recover, discover, heal, and grow.

In her free time, Natalie enjoys all outdoor recreation activities, traveling, making art, and adventuring with her partner and dog Nalu!
