Yanabah received a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Utah. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology from Weber State University.

Yanabah Wood is passionate about helping clients achieve better balance as they enhance the quality of their lives. She believes that trust is the basis of a positive client-provider relationship so she provides a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their unique experiences. Yanabah offers a strengths-based approach that honors the client’s inner wisdom and their ability to create meaningful change.

Yanabah’s diverse clinical therapy experiences have allowed her to assist diverse populations and life circumstances. She has extensive experience working with trauma survivors and with teens/young adults and women struggling with depression, anxiety, suicidality, and racial identity. Yanabah helps clients navigate difficult life transitions, by providing an opportunity for self-reflection, increased compassion, and support in creating healthy boundaries as they honor their individual needs. Yanabah uses mindfulness to support clients in cultivating self-care practices that foster balance and inner peace
