Our Mission

At Fit and Healthy Kids, our mission is to empower children and their families to improve their health and wellbeing through regular physical activity, healthy food choices and utilizing self-care behaviors, and to help these changes become lifelong habits. In our Fit and Healthy Kids program, we are committed to nurturing the whole child—body, mind, and spirit—setting them on the path to a healthier future.

Participation in the Program

Is your child struggling with their weight, or any of the following weight-related diagnoses?

  • High blood pressure, high cholesterol, cardiovascular disease
  • Insulin resistance or diabetes
  • Liver disease
  • Asthma or other respiratory disorders
  • Orthopedic problems and chronic pain
  • Depression and anxiety
  • Eating disorders
  • Trouble in school or making friends

Our comprehensive 1-year multidisciplinary program addresses all aspects of physical and mental health to help kids, teens, and their families embrace and grow into healthy patterns for life. Education and support are provided in individual and group settings by skilled practitioners from 4 medical disciplines: Primary Care, Physical Therapy, Nutrition and Dietetics, and Behavioral Health. Our providers offer evidence-based and practical tools to facilitate wellness and lasting change.

Payment for Program

Not only can finding the right provider be difficult, but it can become even more difficult when you have a limited health insurance plan. Most clients will find the cost of this program can be covered entirely by their health insurance, however we do offer out-of-pocket and sliding scale fee options as well.

Here at Sacred Circle Healthcare, we are flexible in working with our patients, especially those with Medicaid. We’ve worked with this system for years, so we know exactly how to deliver the best care at the most affordable rates.

Our No. 1 priority is helping you and your family get the care you deserve. We work to make sure all our services are eligible for Medicaid coverage. Each individual Medicaid plan will differ, so if you have specific questions about your coverage, send us a message! We will get back to you promptly
